Tracking users that "click to purchase" on 3rd party site

Question for those that might know:

Wanting to know if Marketo can accomplish the option #2 below:

2) If users click on the eblast, visit a 3rd party company's product page and then decides to purchase the product, how do we track/keep those users that purchased?
I don't think having Munchkin code on these 3rd party websites are an option....

Thanks in advance.

There is no way to do this unless you have a way to share data with them. It's their website so they control anything that happens on their pages and any data that is transmitted. They would need to either send you these details directly or you could potentially leverage a third party cookie (not recommended).

Mostly seconding Justin, but maybe a little more optimistically: are they willing to put conversion code only on the conversion page? Otherwise, they're obviously refusing to send any data to you, so that's that.
