Tracking how someone registers for a webinar

What Marketo reports and processes do you use to track how someone registers for a webinar? The lead source may not be the marketing tool that got them to register. I want to report on email, social media, etc.

If you setup multiple landing pages, then you can use the LP report or the Landing Pages Reports. You can also use URL param tracking to track individual channels like Email, Partners, etc. for the current source.

Thanks Josh - do you tie this to Lead Source then as "current source"? We don't change that field once the record's been established, so I'm having trouble reporting on how someone registers for an event, regardless of lead source.

No, I wouldn't use Lead Source with this one. You could use a "Current Source" field, but that'll be overwritten.

Better to tie such things to a landing page URL Param or separate landing pages per partner.

Thank you Josh! When you say "tie to a landing page URL Param" - what do you mean? The URL Builder? Then how can I report off that if not using Lead Source and Current Source changes each time?
