Track clicks in a forwarded email

I'm trying an experiment for forwarded emails.  If someone forwards an email to a colleague, who then clicks on the CTA in the email, what's the best way to track the click to the clicker and not the original recipient?

Do you use a 'Forward to a Friend' type link in the email (and if so, how?), or some other type of tracking?

I don't think you can entirely track the clicks on those.

You could do a smart list to look for people who received a forward and if they clicked in the same email.

Yes, you would use our forward to a friend functionality in the email. If they click "Forward" in their email client, however, it won't work. It is techincally impossible.
