Token in rich-text MyToken?

Hi there.

has anyone else come upon a problem, that if you use a program-level rich-text My Token to populate the email content and inside it along with text add some tokens (so its a token inside a token, yeah), then they don't populate correctly and are displayed just as text in test emails?

Is the token a my token, or a regular field token? Marketo doesn't like it when you nest My Tokens.

Can you be more specific about what is breaking?

@Josh,

There's a tokenized contact name (regular token) inside MyToken set up on a program level. This MyToken token is located inside an email. So the email looks like this:

{{MyToken.Text1}}

While the MyToken Rich text has the content:
blah blah {{token.contentname=1 default value=none}}

 

And that's the problem - the standard token inside My Token fails to populate
