To Marketo or not to Marketo (for Internal Comms)? That is the question.

Currently, I build my Internal Communications emails in Marketo, send myself a sample and forward to an all staff distribution email list in Outlook.
The main issue I have is that I cannot track open-rates or click-through rates, so it is very difficult to measure the success of communications.
I was wondering what you do, and how I could remedy my (lack of) tracking issue? What are the pro's and con's of IC sending in Marketo?
