TLS Clarification

I have few questions with clarifications. Can you please advice me?

1. I have integrated Salesforce and Marketo. Recently salesforce has gotten updated TLS 1.1. So, Is there anything need to do from Marketo Side? or What I have to do?

2. Actually, I have two Marketo Instances. One is connected with Salesforce (Sandbox) and Another one is connected with Salesforce (Production).

a) I have checked the Login History in Salesforce (Sandbox), I can view the Marketo Integration User login as TLS Protocol is TLS 1.1.

b) Same way, I have checked the Login History in Salesforce (Production), I can view the Marketo Integration User login as TLS Protocol is TLS 1.0.

Why It's happening in Salesforce (Sandbox) and Salesforce (Production). Can you tell about this issue details with reason?

There is a TLS doc somewhere on here. It should help.

This is a staged rollout and SFDC was announcing the beginning of the rollout.  As you'll read here sandboxes were upgraded first.

HI,

I have reviewed the Article. Is that Marketo automatically upgraded based on SFDC TLS version?

Yes, that's what I'm saying.

Sailappa, did you find more details about this? TLS 1.1 will be required in Sfdc production instances on March, 2017. I couldn't find any updates from Marketo.

Marketo will connect to your instance with the required TLS version.  You can check this on the SFDC side -- they will audit the downlevel (SSL or TLS 1.0) connections.
