Thinking about becoming certified? We want to hear from you!

I've been using Marketo for 5 months, so it's probably too soon for me. I'm hoping to get certified next quarter. 

Having to register by the Monday before has held me back personally. There have been Tuesdays and Wednesdays where I've thought to myself, "It's a light work week, I can take the certification test this Thursday." But registration had already closed by that point. This has actually happened to me twice.

I'd like to do it at some point. Is the best way to work towards it and to track progress to take the university courses? Is there a checklist to show what we should be able to do? A practice test would be good too.

I think a practice test would be best.

Would hate to sign up for it, pay, take it, then be completely blind sided by the test.

Already certified, but my profile here hasn't updated to reflect that.  How do we make that happen?

I want to, but want to gain an understanding of what will be tested before taking the test.  I've been using Marketo for about 15 months, so it's something I should do.

Same as Chris. I've been using Marketo for about 1 1/2 years but I want to make sure I understand what it is I'll be tested on (ex: I've never helped set up Marketo, so I may not have the answers on implementation if there's a section on this).

In my organation however I have another team member who is interested in sitting the exam and "just wants to have a little more time" to play before he does go for it.

He tends to be more involved with the strategy side of the implementation (at this stage) so is uncertain whether or not the certification exam is a good fit for him.

I think there is a lot of pressure with any certification exam. There is always the thought of 'what if I don't pass?'  Or 'what will my company thing if I fail?' A practice test would be great to justify my concerns. I did find this practice test with LeadMD. I have not taken the actual certification, but thought it was helpful. There were also quizzes for the Foundation classes that I took. If more resources like this were around, it would help me feel more confident about the exam. 

It would also be cool if there was a live webinar that we could all log into that just talked more about the exam and what to expect. Then we could ask questions to others who have taken it.
