Template in Gmail appears below signature

When loading a template to Gmail the template appears below gmail signature.

Is there a way to make the template automatically load above the signature so when people are using it, they don't have to copy and paste the signature to the right place? See attached image.

IMO, this is a bug.

It's because when you load a template it appends it to the email...we don't scan the existing contents and try to determine where to put the template contents.

My recommendation would be only load a template with an empty compose window, then you can add your signature. You can also file an idea to have us insert templates at the beginning of the body instead of the end.
