Tell us WHY 'Smart Campaigns may not be activated with Warnings in the Smart List'

This happens to my team a lot: Maddening Visits Web Page Trigger Bug (which really isn't a bug - just an inconsistent way Marketo tracks/captures specific click activity).  In fact, just when we think we have the rule down pat - e.g., always keep the "" in the Link Name URL value whenever use an 'IS' evaluator for the value of a web page - Marketo will introduce the red squiggly and refuse to activate the smart campaign.

The rules are inconsistent, depending on the type of trigger, filter, constraint, etc.  It would be so helpful if Marketo would tell us what those warnings are when presented with the following:

Here is the proper construct of the URL for these types of triggers/filters when using the "IS" evaluator - I'd like to see these added to the warning message when each scenario presents itself):

  • Clicks/clicked link in email: you must INCLUDE the full URL (with the http/https protocol)
  • Clicks/clicked link on web page: you must REMOVE the the http/https protocol
  • Visits/visited web page: you must REMOVE the the http/https protocol
  • Fills/Filled Out Form with a 'Web Page Is" constraint: you must REMOVE the the http/https protocol
    • NOTE: If the web page is a Marketo landing page, use the internal name as the value, not the URL of the page
