System Smart Lists: Bounced Email Addresses

The leads that get added to the Bounced Email Addresses System Smart List-- are these leads automatically excluded from future emails that are sent out (like Unsubscribed Leads)? Or do they manually have to be supressed in all email campaigns?

The Help Article that gives an Overview on System Smart Lists (https://community.marketo.com/MarketoArticle?id=kA050000000Kyu4CAC) has some sort of bug so that the "Note" obscures the section of the table that explains Bounced Email Addresses...
