Syncing campaigns between Marketo and SFDC

Hello,

We want to enable campaign sync between SFDC and Marketo. Is there any way to prevent this from syncing the last 3 months of campaign data as the setup guidelines explain will happen?
 
Also, Ideally we want to only really want to sync campaigns we initiate in Marketo to SFDC, since there are many cold calling campaigns in SFDC that we don’t want to report on.
 
If there is no work around above, do you know what will happen to members in a SFDC campaign that are not being synced with our Marketo Sync User profile? We have other record types for example that are members of our SFDC campaigns that we do not include in our Marketo instance. Will the member and status just be skipped if they are not currently in Marketo, or will syncing the campaigns also sync members of all these SFDC programs to our Marketo instance?

If Marketo cannot see the SFDC Campaign, it will just not be able to act on it. Nothing happens to the members.

Syncing the campaigns should not necessarily sync the Members. But you should sync all records.

If you do this, ideally you sync your Programs and all leads between systems.
