Sync to SFDC in Flows

When you add a "Sync to SFDC" in your flow step will this automatically reset the routing?   I have a couple programs where the leads do not reroute.   If the adress stays the same but, the owner is different it does not reroute.

No, if the Lead is already Owned by a user, it will not change anything.

It will change the Lead Assignment if the Lead is NEW to SFDC or is in a Queue.

If your SFDC is setup to trigger an assignment based on a field change, then it could trigger a reassignment.

I guess put even more simply, the Sync to SFDC flow step does not actually run for leads that are already synced to SFDC. Once a lead is synced with SFDC for the first time any updates to the record flow automatically to the record in SFDC, you do not need Sync To SFDC unless the lead has never been synced.

If you want to change the lead owner in SFDC, you would use the "Change Lead Owner" flow step instead.

Thanks guys.   Veronica the "change lead owner" can't be sent into routing rules correct?    You have to pick a specific user.

Thanks!

Hi there - that's true, but primarily that's because of the way Salesforce itself works. Lead assignment rules will only work the first time a lead enters Salesforce, after that they won't work, so Marketo is working with what's possible from a Sslesforce perspective.
