Sync from SFDC

Hello,

We are a multinational company using Salesforce but only the APAC region is using Marketo.
I would like to understand how NOT TO sync leads/contacts from Salesforce to Marketo when they are not created in the APAC region?

I cannot find the field "Lead is created in SFDC" -> "Country is not ..." -> Do not sync to Marketo

Please help

You could use Lead Score value, and set up a campaign that says "if lead score is less than 50 then don't sync"
Then have some related triggers, like
 > if lead created in APAC region, apply lead score of 60
 > if lead score under 50 = do not sync

Would achieve the desired result, you just have to make sure you accommodate all scenarios, like if the lead is created manually in SF it still triggers the lead score Vs it being created via a marketo form and being assigned a lead score, etc etc.

If I understand you right, you want to prevent Marketo from seeing any non APAC records. You then need to tell the Marketo User to only see APAC leads in SFDC. This can be done with a field permission or sharing rules. Your SFDC admin can help.
