Is there currently a way to add a symbol in the subject line of emails in Marketo?

What kind of symbols?
Have you tried the ANSI or ASCII codes?

We would like to add a simple checkmark symbol like below....I am not familiar with how to use the ANSI/ASCII codes in the subject line. Can you advise?

Copy whatever unicode symbol you want and paste it into the subject line in the email editor! Here's a list of some: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miscellaneous_Symbols
