Subscription Management filter to Manage Subscription page instead of Email Confirmation

We have built a new subscription center for our website. It is not live yet just been testing it.

I am having trouble figuring out how to accomplish what I am needing.

This is the new subscription page: http://pages.bkd.com/Subscription-Management_subscribe-feb-15.html

Basically when someone new signs up they are taken to a Email Confirmation page explaining that they should receive an email and they need to click the subscribe in that email.

What I am having trouble with is if someone who is already signed up just wants to manage their subscription and they click submit it takes them to the manage subscription page I have built instead of going to the email confirmation page. We do not want to have everyone that is already signed up have to confirm their email address each time. 

Our current and live subscription works this way but we did not build it. A outside company built our current one.

Has anyone tried to this before and if so what was the best way?

Could you send us the URLs in question - I need to walk through what you are talking about.
 

If I go to the URL you provided, I just see an email subs mgmt page. It looks fine, if not complex.

We don't want to have people confirm their email address each time they change something. We have a lot of options and people often add and remove options from their subscription.
