Subject line showing HTML

Hi All,

I have created email and used rich text tokens in subject line as well as in one part of body content. I have used HTML in tokens. IT is working fine in body content but when I checked the subject line, it is showing the HTML.

I know that I can use different tokens for this purpose but I am curious to know is this a normal behaviour?

This is normal behavior - You cannot use rich text HTML tokens in your subject line just like how you can't code HTML into a subject line as it is all text-based. You'll need to create a plain text token for your subject!
