I've been poking through the documentation and haven't found any references for how to set up a development environment or staging environment. We'd like a way to segregate development traffic from our hits on the live site -- seems like either an alternate key or a separate marketo instance would be how we've seen it done on other platforms. Any ideas?
Typically what you would do is contact your salesperson about setting up a Sandbox instance. The Sandbox would be a place where you could test out things and see how they work before moving them to production.
Please note: Sandbox users have to have a completely different email address from the account used in production. Because the Marketo login is based on email address, if you tried to use the same one on both Production and Sandbox it wouldn't know which one you're trying to connect to.
