Some field filters are not avaiulable for segmentation

Hi All,

I am having an issue with filters, I am not able to find a few attribute filter while creating segmentation while those are available in Smart List filters. Can anyone please let me know how I can make those available for segmentation as well?

Thanks for your help!

The following fields are not available in Segmentation:

  • No Activity Filters
  • Random Sample
  • Member of Smart List
  • Member of Smart Campaign
  • Total Opty Amount
  • Total Opty Expected Revenue
  • Number of Optys
  • Duplicate Fields

Anurag KhemkaAnurag Khemka FYI. I moved your post to the Products and Support section.

Also, I see you have two accounts on the Community. Which is your primary one? Can you add the word "Primary" next to your title. See how I did it. Thanks

Anurag Khemka not all smart list filters are available in segmentations unfortunately.

Specifically, behavioural filters will not be accessible.

What filters are you missing?

Anurag Khemka one workaround that I use for unavailable filters is to have a smart campaign that will add someone to a static list if they meet the criteria that I'm looking for. You can also have that smart campaign remove them from the list after a certain amount of time if it makes sense depending on the filter. Then, when their membership in the list is updated they are either added to or removed from the segment.

@Dory Viscogliosi that is a good work-around. I've done that too.

Hi Cheryl,

Is there a reason that Member of Smart List is not included? Is there a possibility of this being added in the future?

Thanks!

I'd have to assume that it has something to do with processing speeds, and the fact that nested smart lists can really slow down processing of your instance. Luckily there are some workarounds to this using static lists, as well as other filters.
