Some contacts in Dynamics arent syncing in Marketo...

I have run a view in CRM for active contacts, and the same in Marketo and I have a difference. Not huge, but enough to question it.

It appears that contacts that arent being synced/appearing in Marketo are ones that are owned by specific people in CRM.

Does anyone know why this would happen or experienced this? Is it settings that are behind the scenes?

Did the Sync allow you to sync all records? I'm not sure how it works in MSD, but in SFDC your sync user needs to be able to see everything. An alternative is a record was deleted in one system, but not in the other.
