Social sharing not updating

Hi-

I cannot get the social sharing to update consistently. Specifically, I'm trying to remove facebook but keep the other three. I have tried numerous times to get it to work...I read the "Manage Configurations" article, and am doing it correctly. It has actually worked once or twice (facebook icon disappears) but when I go back to the page, the facebook button is there again.

Has anyone else experienced this?
