Social influence report

Other than reviewing the social activity we are generating and see how oftn our leads tell their friends about us, is there anything else we can get out of the Social Influence Report?

Also what do we need to do on our backend (i.e., our social Icons) or our facebook/other social pages to get this reporting organically from our postings?
