Soap API version 2.4 takes more time than API version 2.1

During performance testing, we found out that API calls using SOAP API version 2.4 is taking more time than 2.1
is there any specific reason for this.

Almost nothing was changed between those releases that would be material for performance. Can you provide details on your test? Potentially there are other variables.

Also, you can still use the old endpoint- are you seeing this performance difference even now?

As Erik mentioned, there is nothing I am aware of that would be causing a performance degradation.

I woud first confirm that this is not an isolated case, where the system was under high load. Have you tested at different times/days?
