Has anyone run surveys via SMS?

A colleague is looking for suggestions on SMS technologies to capture product feedback from clients and others.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

-Geoff

You can look at launchpoint and Twilio and Informatica SMS.

If you want replies, that's usually an extra fee. I'm not sure if SurveyMonkey can do this.

You'd be better off just linking to a very mobile friendly site in your SMS.

Two-way SMS is always going to be a pain.

For example, how does it get monitored on the Marketo side? What if someone responds "would love 2 chat more" and you're listening for a string that contains a number?

I would agree to @Nicholas Manojlovic'ssuggestion. Managing 2 way SMS programs can be really painful. There have been some use cases I have seen from Hoosh but not sure how effective they would be.

I would recommend using a mobile-friendly landing page, and promote that in your SMS. Your users should be able to fill that to give their feedback.

Hi Geoff,

You can search on Launchpoint website for the SMS solutions provided by Marketo partners.

Thanks.

I am looking more for what experience Community members have had and what recommendations or warnings, if any, they might have.
