Question

Smart campaign to track leads

I was looking for the best smart trigger to capture leads in SFDC. These leads are owned by an operational queue, and I want to know when/if a user tries to prospect/work/modify these leads.

I'm looking for the best suggestion on how to capture this.

Thanks!

Derrick

Are you looking to do this in SFDC or in Marketo? What behaviors constitute a user trying to prospect/work/modify at your org? What exactly do you want to have happen when these behaviors are met?

Best one is Activity is Logged.

Others are:

     Opportunity created

     owner Changed

     Lead is converted

Hi Jamie, Hi Matt,

I'm looking to set up the trigger in MKTO based on user activity in SFDC. When behaviors are met, an email to Marketing Ops would happen. We are basically trying to track any updates/modifications to the lead record by a SFDC user.

I would assume that Activity is Logged is a good suggestion, but was hoping I could encompass any other triggers.

You could use some of the options that Jamie noted, and you could also add a Data Value Changes trigger with a source for salesforce.com.

Your smart campaign can have multiple triggers acting as OR operations, so any of them will cause the email to be triggered.
