SkillJar Integration

Hey there,

We are integrating SkillJar traingin platform to Marketo. SkillJar does have not function to only allow to update records. https://launchpoint.marketo.com/assets/1797-skilljar/10604-skilljar/Skilljar-Marketo-Integration-Guide.pdf

However, since data delivered through direct integration is incomplete, we only want to allow data to come if the record (email) already exists in our systems. Otherwise we will create bunch of records with missing data.

Is there a way to do it from Marketo? We need to allow to update, but not create new records in our systems?

Does anyone know if that's Marketo functionality?

Simple, delete the lead if the New Person source is Munchkin API. (This assumes you aren't using Munchkin API associateLead to create leads in any other context.)

Thank you for your answer. Do you know if New Person is standard Marketo field that I could check?

Are there any other ways to make this integration work?

New Person ​(New Lead in older instances) is a trigger in all Marketo instances. No reason to use or look for anything else.
