Show Individual Leads Included in Leads by X Reports

The Lead By X report is only going to show you the number of leads.  To see the actual leads, create a Smart List with the criteria you are looking for.  You can then adjust the grid to display the columns you want to see, such as company, industry, etc.

Thanks for your reply, Cheryl.  Just to clarify, when you say to create a smart list, do you mean in the report itself?


If so, I've just attempted this using the filter "First Name."  However, I'm not really sure which dropdown option will ultimately give me the info that I want to see in the report.  I tried "First Name: Is" and left the second field blank, which returned an error.  I also tried "First Name: Is Not Empty" and again, it didn't show me the lead details.

Therefore, I am guessing that I should just create smart lists (outside of leads reports) and refresh them every time I want this kind of info.  

Could you explain in more detail how I can achieve what I am looking for with a smart list?

Sorry I meant a smart list in the lead database.  Tell me what leads you are looking for?  Example - all leads in California, in a specific industry, etc. 

Actually, the first thing I am trying to do is compare Marketo reporting to my reporting in SFDC to make sure the numbers reflected in Marketo are accurate.  I'm looking to move toward using Marketo in place of SFDC for reporting duties.

When I looked at the Leads By Month Report in Marketo for June 2013, it did not match up to what my SFDC numbers are reflecting, but since I cannot see the individual leads Marketo is including in its calculation, it's very difficult for me to determine what Marketo is recording and what is being left out.

However, in the future, once I know Marketo reporting matches up with SFDC, I will want to view things like leads by month with the individual lead breakdown, and view fields such as first and last name, company name, and industry so I can record and identify trends over time.
