Share Button on Marketo

Does anyone have experience incorporating a share button/ refer a colleague in Marketo programs?

We are creating a newsletter through Marketo and want the ability for the reader to hit a share button in order to email a new contact the newsletter.

We are having challenges with it working, in the testing phase. Does anyone have any suggestions on what we should do or alternatives?

Are you using the {{system.forwardtoafriend}} token System Tokens Glossary - Marketo Docs - Product Docs ?

Hi Ronda,

The refer a friend link won't work if sent in a test or sample email.  The email would need to be sent through a smart campaign or single flow action in order to work correctly.

John is right. Refer link does not work in sample test emails. You will have to send the email to actual lead to test it.
