SFDC Lead to Contact conversion

Hello, We would like to automatically send a an email to anyone upgraded from a lead to a contact in SFDC.  What is the most efficient method to identify these people (does it involve SFDC status?) in Marketo.

There is a "Lead is Converted" trigger that you could use to trigger the email send.  If you are using specific SFDC statuses when the lead is converted, you can add in a Status filter to ensure that only those with a certain converted status will get the email.
