SFDC Field Data is Not Syncing into Marketo

I have a standard field on the SF opportunity that I can't seem to get to sync to Marketo. I can see the field in Marketo, but the field data is not syncing. Does anyone know any tricks? I made sure that I checked the "visible" box next to the field name on the Set Field-Level Security button within SFDC. The specific field that I am referring to not syncing is "Type" under the SF opportunity object level.

Tammie, the "Type" field on Opportunity is a standard Marketo field, that's why you can see the field. The easiest way to check whether Marketo can see the data values in SFDC is to login to SFDC using the Marketo user account, then look at the Opportunity. After making the field visible it's important to edit the Opportunity, because Marketo will only download the contents of the Type field when the Opportunity changes.

Did you make sure this is visible to Read by the User's Profile?

Consider discussing with your SFDC Admin and Support as well.
