SFDC Custom Object Data Flow Question

Will records on a custom object (associated to Accounts) sync down from SFDC to Marketo?  There will not be data on the Lead or Contact that is associated with these records.

I will test this, of course, but need a rough idea if this will work or not.

Yes. If you create a Smart List with the filter "Has {Custom Object Name}" and then add your criteria as constraints, you will get all Contacts on the Account that has a Custom Object record that matches your criteria. Of course, you need to enable the custom object in admin

What if the records that are on the custom object do not exist as Leads or Contacts?  They only exist on the custom object.  Will they still exist in Marketo?
