SFDC campaign not found error

Has anyone seen this error before? I'm using the filter "Member of SFDC Campaign-- Lead in X"

The campaign that I am trying to add is displaying in Marketo's drop down. It's also active and there are members in it.

However, right after I add it i'm seeing a red underline with and error message that says it's not found. I've modified to the SFDC

campaign several times to see if that made a difference and it did not.

Hi Alexis,

If you log into SFDC as your Marketo sync user, are you able to see the campaign?  If that use has lost visibility for some reason, then this could be the issue.

I did check that and it is visible to the marketo sync user. I'm not sure what else would be causing this.

Hi Alexis,

We had an issues like this on one instance. Finally, it was an issue with the insufficient rights of the Marketo user. Make sure that :

  • The Marketo user has the "Marketing User" checkbox checked
  • The Marketo user has the "modify all" and "view all" rights on campaigns
  • The campaigns are active
  • The SFDC Campaign sync checkbox is checked in Marketo (admin -> Salesforce).
