Setting up a multi-step, timed flow campaign - how do I do this?

I'm setting up a multi-step campaign and am unsure of how to do it.

The campaign starts with an e-mail that has a link directing recipients to a Landing Page. Those who fill out the form on the LP immediately receive a white paper. 3 weeks later, the same people will get a different white paper.

1) How do I set up the steps?

2) For the white papers, do I store these somewhere in Marketo or somehow use an outside link? Or is it better to send them to another LP with a download link?

Any help would be appreciated! We're pretty new at this and I've never set up a campaign of this type.

Will they receive the whitepaper as an email? Or do you want the page to re-direct to the asset? Or both?

You can store the whitepaper file in Marketo from within the design studio.

I'd like the option to do both, as I'm unsure what the person in charge of this campaign is going to want.

Are the steps similar?

Bridget,

Here's a quick sketch:

Program - Content
-Email 1
-LP 1
-LP TY
-Email 2
-Campaign: Responder

Your Campaign will look like:
Fills Out Form IS "X" on Page "Y"
Flow:
Send Email white Paper
Wait 3 Weeks
Send Email 2 with White paper 2

You can upload the papers as PDF to IMages/Files. Be sure your name for the pdf uses DASHES instead of spaces. You can also keep the white paper somewhere else if you prefer.

Josh - just to make sure I'm understanding what you meant:

The graphic shows how I set it up, assuming that we used a LP to direct users to the second dowload. But I'm not sure this is right. The second white paper should only go to the people who clicked on the first link and got the first paper.

The flow steps are:
