Setting limit to form submissions at form and field level

Hi All,

I am trying to figure out how to set a limit on the number of people who can submit a form. This is just the first step - what I am trying to get to is set a limit on the amount of times somebody can select a certain drop down value. After a specific number of submissions for a particular drop down value have exceeded, I would like to have those fields automatically removed because they are not available anymore.

Does anyone have any advice on this?

I'm trying to find a way to limit the number of form submissions as well...for an upcoming class which is limited to a certain amount of people to sign up for.

OR after a certain number is hit, they get a specific email informing them that the class is currently full, etc.

ANY help is very appreciated!
