"Set local asset expiration" for all assets in folder OR in Campaign Inspector

The ability to expire all assets inside a program at a selected date and time is helpful, but I'd like to be able to go one step further and manage more than one program at the same time. I would be happy with the ability to do this either a) by having a "set local asset expiration" option on a folder that would cascade to all assets inside the folder, or b) by enhancing the Campaign Inspector to allow for bulk activation/deactivation as suggested in this Idea from 2014. 

I'm proposing this as a separate idea in case local asset expiration is more appealing/easy to implement than Campaign Inspector upgrades, because either would work for my use case.
