Separating US database and EMEA database

I would ideally like to have a US database and an EMEA database.

  1. Is this possible?
  2. Is it worth it?
  3. Pros/Cons
  4. Resources to do this?

      Even with lead partitions, ALL leads will still be part of the default workspace. Also, is this question to comply with the upcoming GDPR legislation?
