Why would the sent number be signifcantly lower than the delivered?

Where in Marketo are you viewing the numbers?

Looking at it through the view summary under the program member by status. So for example on one campaign it shows me 461 sent and 2829 delivered- I understand that Marketo defines the sent as those that go through the marketo server and delivered is when its accepted by the recipient mail server, so it seems to me based on those definitions that the sent number woudl be higher than the delivered-- just trying to make sure I fully understand the variances between the two. Thanks for your help!

Hi Amy,

Can you specify a bit more. Are you using an email program? A default program? Just looking at a smart campaign? I can help you if you can tell me the exact asset you are looking at and what tab you are in.

Are you looking at the "Email" tab in the summary page? Or are you looking at the "Results" tab of the smart campaign?
