Sender score concerns about wake the dead

We're planning a "wake the dead" campaign and are concerned about it negatively impacting our sender score. Does anyone have any thoughts or experiences regarding this topic?

Any time you send out email to a dormant list you run the risk of spam complaints...I would keep it as targeted/relevant as possible and send in small batches.

Yes, as Jason said definitely keep it targeted. I'd also include easy ways to update information or preferences on emails.

Another way to minimize this is to go through the initial list and remove anyone who is TOO old or clearly Invalid or a Spam Trap.

I wouldn't try this on leads older than 12-18 months.
