Send email to list & smart list not working

How can I send an email blast out to an uploaded list in an email prgram AND a Smart List? 

I created an email program and uploaded a list and also created a separate smart list to segment leads in our whole database. In the email program Smart List, I added:

1. Members of List: Lead: in: (List Name)
2. Member of Smart List: Lead in: (Smart List) 

However when I do this, the Smart List in the overall email program pulls up to 0. If I delete one or the other Smart List, the leads will populate according to how many leads are in that list.

Hi Jessica, 

You'll want to change the smart list logic in the program from ALL to ANY, this will allow leads who qualify for any oneof the filters to the pulled into the run.
