Send Alert Email from Engagement Stream

Hi, 

We have a need to send an email to the value of a custom field.   Within a normal Smart Campaign, the 'Send Alert' flow step can be used to do this using a token: 


Is the same option available within an engagement stream?

The only way I could figure out how to do it is by instead of using Email type in the stream, using Program type and then referencing a Smart Campaign that has a 'Send Alert' flow step.

You have it correct that you set up a Smart Campaign to send Alerts. Your screen capture shows Send Email, which would send out to members of the stream. Just want to make sure you set it up send the right message to the right people.

You can use the stream to call a program, or you could trigger your Alert off of some action that the member takes such as Clicks Link or Fills out Form.
