Segments and Dynamic Content

If you create a segment for dynamic content purposes, you have to have a default segment. If you want to do testing and make a smart list with only certain contacts on it (Say just yourself), that default segment does not get sent to, correct? I want to make sure only myself and maybe a few other people get this email and that no one will get the default content, or that segment will not be sent to.

You can use member of Segmentation to select this.

You can also test by segmentation in the Preview mode.

If there are no leads that are in Default, then that message won't be sent. So if you know you and your team are in the Asia Segment, then Marketo won't send out a default message.
