Scheduling Emails in Smart Campaign Linked to API?

Is there a way to schedule emails in a smart campaign? Right now I have an email with tokens that are connected to our API. Once the API pushes the data to our email, it automatically gets sent out. Would there be a way to schedule emails based on rules (template A goes out M,W,F; template B goes out T, R) via the flow? Unlike a regular email send, I have not been sending these out in a program by scheduling.
