SalesForce Synch Error?

Can someone explain to me what the below means? I received it as a Notification this morning and have never seen it before:

Salesforce Sync Error

Why: Marketo is unable to log into your Salesforce.com account because the daily API request limit has been reached.

What to do now?
The limit clears every 24 hours . If this continues to happen, please contact Marketo Support to optimize your subscription

This is an API limit on SFDC. You should speak with Support and your SFDC Admin.

You likely are syncing too many Activities back to SFDC so you should turn that off or reduce them.

Admin> Salesforce

You may need to upgrade SFDC to have more API calls.

Josh is right. If you have a lot of apps integrated with your SFDC account it may make sense to purchase more API calls. I believe you get 3-5k per user in SFDC.

If you find that you are running into this error frequently then contact support and we can discuss changing your sync interval. By default Marketo syncs with SFDC in 5 minute intervals. Just changing this to 10 minute intervals may help you out a lot.

Thanks, everyone. It looks like we will need to upgrade, and we're working on it with our rep.
