Salesforce Sync was successful, but failed updating Marketo

I keep seeing this error on some records as updates sync to Salesforce. It appears the Marketo updates successfully sync to Salesforce, but then none of the updates form the Salesforce record sync back to Marketo. The error just says "Failed: Failed updating marketo" - has anyone else encountered this?

Do you have any custom setup in place? Ex. - custom sync rules or any other custom CRM integration setup other than the vanilla OOTB Marketo <-> SFDC integration? Also, do you see the SFDC ID system field updated on the lead info page for the records where you're seeing this error?

Hi Darshil,

 

We don't have any custom sync rules or integration setup, just the vanilla integration. I do see the SFDC ID system field updated on the lead info page - I only see this on records that have already been inserted into Salesforce. I just manually pushed two records to Salesforce, one resulted in the error, but the other didn't:

Failure:

 

It appears that the data pushing to Salesforce correct and Marketo is able to update the Salesforce record, but isn't able to pull any updates from the Salesforce record during that exchange to pass back to Marketo and update the Marketo record.
