Salesforce Sync Error

Hi all,

I'm receiving the following error notiication on Marketo.

Error details: Salesforce server is not available mean

Does anyone know what it means and how to fix it?

That means the SFDC server  is temprarily not accepting incoming requests from the web and API.

That is not a big deal for sync. The process will pick up the backlog once the service is fully restored.

There was a performance degradation on NA12. You can review the status on http://trust.salesforce.com/trust/status/

In my experience it means that Salesforce itself was temporarily unavailable - the sync should pick up and start again when it is.  Usually only lasts a few minutes unless there is a serious Salesforce outage.

That's correct, Alisa.  If the error persists for ay significant length of time, you should probably check trust.salesforce.com to check for outages, however.
