Is there a way to have Marketo update or create a Salesforce Camaign Member object?

Hey Scott,

This is done through one of two ways, the "Add to SFDC Campaign" and "Change Status in SFDC Campaign" flow steps, or by using the SFDC Campaign Sync feature outlined here: https://community.marketo.com/MarketoTutorial?id=kA250000000KytlCAC

I am referring to the campaign member object, not the campaign.  The campaign member object is the mapping in the salesforce database between leads and campaigns.  Because of the type of data I need to record, it should be on the campaign member.  It is meta data about the relationship between a campaign and a lead.

Anyone have ideas on this one?  Is it possible to have Marketo talk directly with the SFDC database to access the CampaignMember table?

Scott, were you able to get an answer for this?

I know you can use this data in the Member of SFDC Campaign filter.

Has anyone found a way to do this? Would be really useful to update custom campaign member fields.
