Sales Insight Email - Format

I want to publish blank emails to sales insight, to replicate the look and feel as if it were sent directly from Outlook. Does anyone know how to get rid of the grey panels on the right and left in the email template?

Use a blank template and then add what you want to it in Marketo?

Are you sure the Gray bars are due to HTML in Marketo?

I'm using a blank template, so my next guess is that the gray bars are present because of the unsubscribe. Any recs to (or should you) bypass that for Sales Insight email?

We bypass it for MSI. I use a blank template, add my plain text, then publish for sales to use. So the email simply has the plain text and that is it - since the object of the tool is to make it personable like it is coming for a SFDC user, you don't add unsubscribe - just as if a sales member used outlook to email a lead - he/she wouldnt add an unsubscribe call-out. The gray bars thing is interesting - I did not have that problem using a blank template.
