Russian Cyrillic translation as a Marketo field

Hi Marketo Community,

Given Marketo's support for the Russian language, I'm looking into the ability to translate Russian customers' first names into the Cyrillic alphabet and save them as a custom Marketo field (it is for email salutations i the native language).

Is this possible and is there a Salesforce component to it? The names themselves are currently in th English alphabet in Salesforce.

Hmm...can you use UTF8? If so, that should be ok.

You'd have to speak with an SFDC Admin to ask them. Oddly enough I was thinking about this today. Sorry I don't have a clear answer. Check SFDC's support site.
