Root folder, Instance level or Workspace level tokens

We can set tokens a first level folder level, but it is impossible to set token on the root folder.

And yet this would be awesome as we could set company defaults.

When using workspaces, these would become workspace level tokens.

Even better, instance level tokens, so that they be also visible from the design studio. Useful when creating emails and landing pages in the design studio.

An additional great capability would be that the right to define root tokens and to change their values should be restricted through roles.

This is an awesome idea. There is a definite need to create root folder (or instance) level tokens for things like copyright years, addresses, logos, and other company wide info that has the potential to change.

We do this.

For each instance, we have a folder for Campaigns and all of the "global" tokens are set there, like Year.

Hi Robb,

We do this also, of course. But it's not as solid as instance wide, admin set, tokens.

This has become reality today (?). Now my.tokens can be defined in the admin area where they are valid instance-wide. They can also be set (or overridden) on Workspace level. I think that's a tremendous improvement!
