Question

Revenue Cycle- Where are you putting SFDC created leads?

Just taking a poll on best practices regarding "Sales Created" leads and contacts in SFDC and where you're putting them in the revenue cycle model? I am curious if others are taking the new CONTACTS specifically and whether you add them to the model as Sales Accepted Lead ? Or do you not even add Sales Created contacts to your cycle to maintain a more marketing-centric focus on the conversion metrics from stage to stage?

If the created lead is just a lead I would conider as "MQL".

you should discuss this, but typically
SFDC Lead=MQL or SAL
SFDC Contact=SQL

and these are managed by separate workflows.

Thanks for the responses. Josh, this is exactly the affirmation I needed - I thought to do the same but hearing it again confirms my thoughts. Can you please ellaborate on what you mean by separate workflows?
