REST API to get program and its description

Hi,

I'd like to know if it's possible to get program description using REST APIs. I know it's possible to get program name through REST APIs on campaigns which return program name. But they don't return any description of program.

In addition to the endpoints that Greg listed, a release for the program-specific API is currently scheduled for the Q1 2016 release in February.
